The red-shirts ended their anti-government protest at Soi Dao Highland golf course in Pong Nam Ron district in the eastern province of Chanthaburi yesterday at 5am.

At the rally, many key figures of the red-shirt group appeared on stage to give speeches to oust the Abhisit-led administration.
Most of the remarks involved the alleged illegal occupation of land plots owned by influential persons.
They claim this is seriously affecting local villagers and that it's a double standard practised by the government.
In addition, the pro-Thaksin movement pledged to gather in another protest on January 29th at a golf course in Chiang Mai, as well as in Phuket province soon.
On Saturday night, ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra appeared in a video link and claimed that the red-shirt rally has, for the first time, revealed an alleged land encroachment by the bureaucracy.
Thaksin went on to say that the large number of red-shirt members joined the protest because the group's key figures dared to speak the truth, and that the protest on January 29th will be larger.
Thaksin also lauded Major General Khattiya Sawasdipon for his courage to break away from the Army Chief and turn to the red-shirts instead.
Lastly, the overthrown prime minister vowed to form a government in exile in case of a coup.
No violence or confrontation with local villagers was reported at the two-day protest.
The group littered the golf course with tons of garbage, and local district officers had to clean the area.
