Pattaya provincial police have arrested 11 suspects, believed to be a part of an illegal loan shark gang. Authorities confiscated one car, eight motorcycles, and numerous documents that show their 12 operations in the Chon Buri area, along with account information of over 1,600 clients, totaling around 50 million baht in loans.
Upon interrogation, police found out that the suspects were bookies and debt-collectors for loan sharks believed to be from Chantaburi province.
Nonetheless, authorities will continue to investigate and arrest involved individuals in the loan shark network.
