Bangkok (AFP/http://www.thaimiss.com) - Miss Praew Kaewtip won the Elite Model Look Thailand 2010 title to represent Thailand in the Elite Model Look World Final 2010. 30 beautiful candiates joined to compete for the title.

Miss Praew Kaewtip will be one of the models competing in the world's most prestigious modelling contest to be held in Shanghai, China next month. Miss Pajutha Udomsak is the first runner-up and Miss Pathrathida Ratmanee is the second runner-up.

The Elite Model Look Thailand 2010 was jointly held by the Elite Model Management Southeast Asia and Nat World Media Company under the sponsorship of MCOT Plc and Justice Ministry.

Elite Model Look is the annual modelling event with more than 350,000 candidates worldwide. It provides all talent girls with opportunities to launch modelling careers.

This professional event is organized regionally and nationally in more than 50 countries. The contest launched careers for top models such as Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Tatjana Patitz, Gisele Bundchen and so on.

Past contestants included Heidi Klum, Giselle Bundchen, Isabeli Fontana, Frederique van der Wal, Alessandra Ambrosio, Linda Evangelista, Ana Beatriz Barros, Tatjana Patitz, and others, according to wikipedia website.

       Also, the competition partly inspired America's Next Top Model reality television show. The show, which was first premiered in May 2003, is hosted by talk-show host and model Tyra Banks.
